 ◆Masafumi Yamasaki(acupuncturist and judo therapist)after graduating from Meiji Technical College of Acupuncture and Judo-Therapy in 1972, he attended Summer College and studied under the top specialists of eastern medicine(channel treatment): late Sodo Okabe and Dr.Akio Okada,for 5 years.In parallel,he also studied osteopathy under Dr.Kusumoto. On May 17, 1975 he attended a chiropractic seminar given by Dr. Thompson and Dr. Ganstead at the Kyoto International Conference Center, where he encounters chiropractic treatment for the first time. Moved by this experience he decides to pursue chiropractic medicine. In 1976 he met Dr. Pierce for the first time. In August of the following year he traveled to the US to spend two months working as an intern at the Pierce Clinic. Over the course of the next twenty years he traveled to the US more than fifty times to visit Dr. Pierce's clinic and carried out joint research. In Japan his name has become associated with the doctor's since he is the only Japanese researcher to have worked on the computer adjuster system developed by Dr. Pierce. Since the passing of the doctor, he has become the top practitioner of the Pierce System, furthering research into the "computer adjuster," forming close ties with over 15 foreign doctors, and working hard to establish a superior treatment system through ongoing research.And he is respected by producing positive results for the many appreciative patients who come to his clinic for treatment. In late years,he has held a number of seminars in the U.S.,Europe,Chine,and Taiwan.
